About Me
I am an influencer to the influencers. In the 1990s, I helped persuade the world to carry a device with them everywhere they went – the mobile phone. Now I tell the world about companies and people who are taking the communications technology industry to new heights by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet to make everything smarter and more connected.
I have successfully directed company and product launches for industry leaders in the communications field, beginning with the first digital network launch (Sprint Spectrum), the first smartphone (Nokia), the first “world phone” (Bosch Telecom) as well as the first “wireless data” applications.
I have an unmatched expertise and passion for the mobile, wireless and telecommunications markets and have developed extremely close relationships with the editors and analysts in senior positions in these industries. Advising communications tech industry clients on how to strategically leverage marketing and PR strategies to grow their business is my specialty.
In 1999, I launched the marketing communications and public relations firm Calysto Communications, where I built a team of senior-level marketing, content, social and public relations professionals that continues to serve clients today.
In the last 25 years, I’ve directed hundreds of strategic marketing campaigns that have helped clients triple their sales in a year, increase inbound sales leads by 87% and build their partner networks by 85% (just a few examples). The campaigns I’ve spearheaded have received more than 10 prestigious International and American “Stevie” Business finalist and winner awards.
I’ve personally positioned dozens of companies for a liquidity event, M&A or IPO, helping these clients secure more than $4.8 billion in publicly reported valuations. I’ve also recruited and placed more than 50 high-level marketing executives for companies and individuals I’ve worked with in the communications industry.
